800 lives snuffed out.
At least they didn’t die under the tyranny of government regulation of building codes and workplace safety… . yeah, can’t have big government interfering with capitalist pursuits now can we? Let the ‘markets’ set the rules and boundaries. Really? There were 800 lives lost to terrifying and painful death, but the price of shirts at Wal-Mart and Target won’t be affected, shirt sales won’t be affected. Instead, thousands of orphans are doomed to lives of poverty and hardship, families are destroyed.

The flowers have arrived, farmer’s Markets have started and the winter clothes have been packed away. My summer has finally begun. I’m ready for flip-flop tan lines, losing at least three pairs of sunglasses and roasting homemade marshmallows over backyard bonfires. I tend to cook a lot more…
